I recently read The Diary of a CEO by Steven Bartlett, and one point really struck a chord:

He does sweat the small stuff.

So do I.

Because in leadership, culture, and people, small details aren’t small.

The extra 5 minutes someone takes to check in with a colleague.
The care taken in how feedback is given.
The tone of an email.
The moment of vulnerability that builds trust.
The thoughtful onboarding that makes someone feel they belong.

It’s easy to talk about big strategies, vision, and transformation. But real culture lives in the micro-moments.

The small stuff is where trust is built.
The small stuff is where people feel valued.
The small stuff is where resilience grows.

In HR, in leadership, in life, the small things are often the big things.

Thank you Steven for such an inspiring read.
